Palang and Klaipeda are two popular resort towns in Lithuania– they are pride of Baltic health resort development.
Itinerary of excursion:
We depart from Riga in the morning. Road leads us through Kurland and its former capital Mitava. Sightseeing begins with Hill of Crosses (one of the Catholic Church’s symbols of Lithuania) near to Siauliai. Siauliai is the centre of North Lithuania. Then we are having a small acquaintance with St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Cathedral and Sundial square.
Palang is one of the greatest resort towns in Lithuania. During Excursion in Palang we are having a walk through one of the most beautiful Botanic Gardens, then visit of Earl F. Tiрkevicius’s castle, at present there is the Amber Museum also. Then - sightseeing of Birutes hill and chapel of the 19th century.
Passage to Klaipeda – the third largest city of Lithuania. We are visiting the Gate to the Baltic Sea and having an excursion in the Old City. After excursion - free time.
At 19:00 pm – departure to Riga.
Arrival in Riga at 23:00 pm.
